Kelechi Iheanacho On Target As Man City Suffer Heartbreak On Valentine\'s Day
Published: February 14, 2016
The Citizens suffered a huge setback in their bid to win the title, losing 2-1 to Spurs with Christian Eriksen netting a late winner for the Londoners.
With Manchester City trailing the opponents 1-0, Kelechi Iheanacho replaced Fernando in the 66th minute and it didn’t take the Nigerian long before he restored parity.
On 74 minutes, a pass from Gael Clichy found the ex-Golden Eaglets star who blasted the ball into the net.
In terms of goalscoring, Iheanacho has been enjoying a renaissance, weighing in with 5 goals since the start of 2016.
