Rilwan Hassan Expects FC Midtjylland To Treat Manchester United Like Southampton
Published: February 17, 2016
Rilwan Hassan is confident that FC Midtjylland will not quake in their boots on Thursday night in their intriguing clash with English Premiership giants Manchester United in the Europa League Round of 32, first leg.
The Danish champions have met English opposition in this competition this season, seeing off Southampton over two legs in the play-off round and Hassan has drawn inspiration from that memorable night in Herning six months ago.
“I think it is going to be a hard game because the team is one of the best in England, it is going to require lots of hard work and full concentration if we are going to conquer Manchester United, ”Hassan told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“We have done it before against Southampton and I am very sure we can do it again.”
The winger has not featured in a competitive game for Midtjylland for close to six months but has been named in the provisional squad for tomorrow’s contest.
Rilwan Hassan, 25, has nine appearances under his belt in the Europa League since he made his debut in the competition.
