Mikel : 99 Percent Of Chelsea Players Want Hiddink To Stay
Published: February 22, 2016
The Super Eagles star is back in first-team reckoning since Hiddink began his second spell with the Londoners in December and has started seven out of a possible nine games in the English Premier League.
“I want him to stay. It is the choice of the owner, the club and the board. They will have to decide,” Mikel said.
“But if you speak to the players, 98 or 99 per cent of them want him to stay so I mean, we are very happy, we are performing well and let’s hope this continues.”
The Chelsea number 12 added : “It depends on the board and it depends on Guus if he wants to continue.
“He has said that he is here until the end of the season but you never know, he might change his mind. ”
Obi Mikel managed only two starts in the top-flight - against Everton and Liverpool - before Guus Hiddink’s appointment as interim manager.
