CSKA Moscow Star Tells Aaron Samuel He Needs To Work Hard To Displace Ahmed Musa
Published: February 23, 2016
CSKA Moscow midfielder Zoran Tosic has admitted that it might be difficult for new signing Aaron Samuel to displace Ahmed Musa in the starting lineup of the Red-blues.
The Guangzhou R&F loanee and Sweden youth international Carlos Strandberg will both be available for selection when the second half of the season resumes in the first week of March.
“These are young guys, they have a great responsibility. Of course, it will be difficult to fight for a place with Musa, who plays the role of striker,” said Zoran Tosic to CSKA Moscow’s official website.
“But Aaron and Carlos competition should only spur them to work harder, be more assertive, and then, it may very well be that in the future they will bring many benefits to our team .”
Samuel has penned a loan agreement with the Muscovites until May 31, 2016.
