Exclusive: Azubuike Egwuekwe Arrives In Finland; To Undergo KuPS Medical On Monday

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Nigeria international Azubuike Egwuekwe landed in Finland on Friday to begin a new adventure with Veikkausliiga club Kuopion Palloseura.
It would be recalled that the central defender signed a one-year contract with KuPS in December but could not join the team immediately due to delay in securing a work permit and visa to Finland.
On Monday, Egwuekwe is billed to undergo a medical test which will pave the way for him to began training with his new teammates at KuPS.
As at Friday night, ex- Warri Wolves frontman Gbolahan Salami is yet to receive feedback from the Finnish embassy regarding his application for a visa.
KuPS have also agreed terms with former Sunshine Stars ace Paul Onobi ahead of the new season.
