Tunde Adeniji Set To Make Levski Sofia Debut; NFF Sends ITC To Bulgaria After Close Of Window
Published: March 02, 2016
The Nigeria Football Federation finally sent the International Transfer Certificate of Tunde Adeniji on Tuesday, paving the way for the Super Eagles striker to start his career with Levski Sofia.
With the transfer window closing for business in Bulgaria on Monday, Fifa has to approve the transfer of the former Sunshine Stars ace but it is envisaged that the Zurich-based organization will give the go-ahead since Levski Sofia repeatedly complained about the non-arrival of the ITC.
Adeniji made Levski Sofia’s provisional squad lists for league games against Ludogorets and Cherno More but could not make his maiden appearance for the Blues due to missing paperwork.
All things being equal, the 20-year-old will make his debut for the capital team on Wednesday evening when they tackle Montana in the Bulgarian A Football Group.
His contract with Levski Sofia is designed for three years.
