Dele Alli Cleared For Mouth-Watering Clash Against Arsenal
Published: March 04, 2016
England rising star Dele Alli has been passed fit for the mouth-watering Premier League clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon.
The attacking midfielder featured off the bench on Wednesday night against West Ham after recovering from an ankle complaint.
“Dele is okay, we need to assess him as well, but we are happy with the way he played in the last 30 minutes against West Ham and he’s okay now,” said Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino told the official website.
There is a lot of Nigerian interest in tomorrow’s game between the Londoners, with Super Eagles striker Alex Iwobi in the ranks of Arsenal, while Spurs pair Alli and Onomah could be a given a run out.
Dele Alli, 19, has made 38 appearances across all competitions in the ongoing season and has scored 7 goals (7 assists).
