Published: March 06, 2016
Ex-Junior Elkanemi of Jos starlet, Collins Chidozie Anwaziem has been offered a full professional deal to remain at FC Porto of Portugal’s main squad as he will not be returning to the Under 19s.
Anwaziem, who has been a member of the U19 team of Porto alongside Nigeria youth international Chidera Ezeh, was drafted into the main team to cover for some injured defenders and performed creditably well.
And following his fine run of form Management of the Club decided to offer him an improved contact to wade off interest from eagle-eyed rival European clubs.
The 19-year-old is highly rated and regarded one of the brightest young prospects in Portuguese football today.
He was registered as a midfielder but now plays in the defense.
