CSKA Moscow maintained their three-point gap at the top of the Russian Premier League table following their hard fought 1-0 win against Spartak in the Moscow derby on Sunday.
Super Eagles skipper Ahmed Musa decided the outcome of the meeting in the 11th minute with his seventh goal of the season in the league.
The pacy frontman played the full game whereas new signing Aaron Samuel watched proceedings from the bench.
