Manchester United Defender Mathew Olosunde Called Up To USA U20s SquadUnited States U20 manager, Tab Ramos, has called up new Manchester United signing Mathew Olosunde to the national team ahead of the Dallas Cup.

The Nigerian-American was among eight defenders named to the roster as the Americans begin preparations for the 2017 CONCACAF U-20 Championship.

The 18-year-old has been part of the United States youth setup since becoming a teenager, first training with the U14s before he was promoted to the U17s but this is the first time he has been named to an U20 roster.

Olosunde and his international teammates will face CF Monterrey Rayados on March 20 before tackling Fulham FC a day later, then end their friendlies with a game against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on March 23.

The stopper made his debut for Manchester United against Brighton & Hove Albion U18s last week, shortly after his transfer was announced by the Premiership giants.
