Nigeria U17s Star Chukwueze Considering Other Options Besides Arsenal
Published: March 16, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that representatives of Nigeria U17 international Samuel Chukwueze are considering other alternatives apart from the player penning a contract with Premier League side Arsenal.
The Diamond Academy winger is back in his homeland after a trip to the United Kingdom for contract talks with the Gunners.
While Kelechi Nwakali’s move to the Emirates is literally in the bag, Chukwueze was not part of the entourage that traveled to London on Tuesday night for final round of talks with Arsenal.
The 16-year-old’s proposed switch to Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg thought to have derailed could be back on track.
The Bronze Shoe winner at the 2015 Fifa Under 17 World Cup was offered to Bundesliga clubs Wolfsburg and Borussia Dortmund by a Portuguese agent before his trip to N7 7AJ.
