CSKA Moscow Striker Ahmed Musa Targets More Goals
Published: March 20, 2016
Ahmed Musa has expressed his happiness after notching a brace in the Russian Premier League clash against Kuban on Saturday evening but admitted that the pitch was not in a good condition.
On 21 minutes, the Super Eagles skipper opened scoring before he made sure the three points were safe in the bag with his second of the day nine minutes from time.
“I think the game was not so difficult . The only thing - it was difficult to cope with the field , which was of terrible quality . I am very happy that we managed to win and score three points,” said Musa to CSKA’s official website.
“This is a very good result , I am happy ! But it is not necessary to stop , I must continue to work and score .
“I hope that this figure will increase even before the end of the season. ”
Musa is the second highest scorer in the Russian top-flight with nine goals to his name, three less than Promes of Spartak Moscow who leads the way.
