Egypt Hold Final Training Session Before Trip To Kaduna
Published: March 23, 2016
The Egyptian National Team held their final training session on Wednesday morning ahead of the trip to Kaduna for the African Cup of Nations qualifier against the Super Eagles.
There are no fresh injury worries in the Egypt squad and the players are optimistic that they can pick at least a point from the match day three fixture against Nigeria.
Zamalek winger Mostafa Fathi is expected to be excluded from the traveling party to Kaduna after picking up an abdominal muscle injury.
Nigeria are two points behind Egypt in the standings but it is believed that the team that takes the highest number of points from the two fixtures will qualify for the 2017 African Cup of Nations in Gabon.
The Super Eagles held their first training session in Kaduna on Tuesday evening and will practice once today.
