Birmingham City Winger Viv Solomon-Otabor Backing Nigeria To Beat Brazil
Published: March 23, 2016Birmingham City winger Viv Solomon-Otabor has predicted that the Dream Team VI will beat their Brazilian counterparts on Thursday night at Kleber Andrade Stadium.
The 20-year-old trained with the Nigeria U23s last summer after he was recommended to manager Samson Siasia and was called up for a training camp ahead of the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations but was not released by his Championship club.
“I think that Nigeria and Brazil are two great teams with very good players but I am confident that Nigeria will win and come out on top and do everyone proud,” Viv Solomon-Otabor told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“The experience training with the squad was great and I trained to the best of my ability, and I enjoyed every second of it.
“Of course, I will like to be part of this team again but I have to be patient.”
London - born Viv Solomon-Otabor has 20 appearances under his belt for the first team of Birmingham City so far this season, and scored his first goal for the club in November 2015 against Fulham.
His father Victor-Banks Otabor played domestically for Bendel Insurance before he moved to the United Kingdom.
