Nigeria Poster Girl Oshoala Marks Arsenal Debut With Goal

Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala hit target on her competitive debut for Arsenal Ladies in their 3-1 victory over Reading Ladies in the first round of the Women’s Super League on Wednesday.
The Gunners took the lead in the 34th minute before Oshoala doubled the advantage one minute out of intermission .
The Nigeria international would have put Arsenal 2-0 up before the end of the first half but her effort hit the woodwork, but she was not denied in the second half when she raced into the box, rounded the goalie before slotting into an empty net.
Reading is the fourth team Asisat Oshoala has scored against since her arrival in England in 2015, having registered her name on the score sheet against Birmingham City, Manchester City and Arsenal while defending the colours of Liverpool.
The 21-year-old went the distance at Meadow Park against Reading.
