Chelsea defender Ola Aina was named in the starting line-up as England U20s lost 2-1 to Canada in an international friendly on Sunday evening at Keepmoat Stadium, Doncaster.
Chelsea teammate Fikayo Tomori, who also has Nigerian blood flowing in his veins, captained the Canada Under 20 squad.
Canada took the lead in the 13th minute and Aina had a chance to restore parity for the Young Lions before the end of the first half but saw his effort saved.
Tomori was delighted with the win against the English side, having lost 4-1 to the same opponents in a closed - door friendly on March 24.
