Iwobi Jets Into London After International Duty With Super Eagles
Published: March 30, 2016
Alex Iwobi has jetted into London, United Kingdom to rejoin Arsenal after international duty with the Nigerian national team.
Though things did not go as planned for Nigeria against Egypt in the last one week or so, but the Hale End Academy product was delighted to make his competitive debut for the three-time African champs, on a personal level.
In both matches against the Pharaohs, the Super Eagles had been lacking creativity in the final third until the introduction of Iwobi who provided the missing ingredient.
“Arrived Into England , Enjoyed My Time With The National Team , Back To The Grind With Arsenal ... #COYG,” the Arsenal number 45 tweeted.
Iwobi could play his 15th game in all competitions for the first team of Arsenal on Saturday when they tackle Watford at the Emirates.
