Peter Utaka Continues To Flourish At Sanfrecce Hiroshima
Published: April 10, 2016
Peter Utaka’s goal for Sanfrecce Hiroshima was in vain as his team ended up losing 4-1 to Kashima Antlers in the J1 League on Sunday.
Doi opened scoring for the home team in the 8th minute of the contest only for the Nigeria international to equalize seven minutes before the intermission.
Goals from Shibasaki and Caio (2) condemned Sanfrecce Hiroshima to their second defeat of the season after six rounds.
Sanfrecce Hiroshima are playing catch-up in the early stages of the season but their Nigerian star is one of the most feared strikers in the league, having netted five times already and he is second in the race for the top scorer award.
