Akas, Obaje, Daniel & Kufre Among Players Called Up By Siasia For Nigeria U23s Get-Together

Dream Team VI coach Samson Siasia has invited 30 players for a training camp ahead of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and has left out foreign-based pros for now due to assignments with their clubs.
The players called up contain a mix of the squad that won gold at the Africa U23 Cup of Nations and some fresh faces, including Nigeria international Chima Akas and Wikki Tourists striker Godwin Obaje.
A total of 18 clubs have contributed players to the roster with Akwa United leading the way with four, followed by Kano Pillars, Enyimba and Mountain of Fire FC, who have three players each.
The invited players have been told to arrive the Starview Hotel, Gwarinpa Estate, Abuja on Tuesday, 12th April, while training starts the following day.
