Nigerian Talents Ejike, Njoku Off To England On Saturday For Liverpool Trials
Published: April 20, 2016
Nigerian talents Jacob Njoku and Chidera Ejike will fly to the United Kingdom this weekend to begin trials with Liverpool in their bids to be offered contracts ahead of the reopening of the transfer window, according to their intermediary Babawo Mohammed.
The duo were patiently waiting to get positive feedback from the Belgian embassy regarding their visa applications before their trip to Liverpool but that has just been resolved.
“We just received the visas now through UPS. Njoku and Ejike are ready for the trials, they have been training and both are 100 percent fit, ” said Babawo Mohammed to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“We will travel on Saturday to the UK, their trials with Liverpool will last for two weeks.”
The two young stars are not eligible to be granted a work permit by the Home Office and might be shipped out on loan to Belgian side Sint Truidense VV if they impress the Reds hierarchy at the end of trials.
