Granada Sporting Director Expects Strong Isaac Success To Return To Action Soon
Published: April 24, 2016
Granada are hopeful that ex-Nigeria U17 international Isaac Success will return to competitive action with the club before the end of the 2015-16 season.
The striker underwent an operation at Our Lady of Granada Health Hospital on Saturday after sustaining a facial fracture in the 5-1 rout of Levante three days ago.
“Isaac Success will return as soon as the doctor and the player decide he can play. He is a strong player but he has to be healthy,” sporting director of Granada Juan Carlos Cordero told allnigeriasoccer.com.
If Success features in the upcoming game against Celta de Vigo, he is likely to wear a protective mask.
The 20-year-old had to be substituted in the 73rd minute against Levante after colliding with his teammate Adalberto Peñaranda.
