Dele Alli Faces Ban If Found Guilty Of Violent Conduct
Published: April 27, 2016
England rising star Dele Alli must respond to a charge of violent conduct before 1800 hours on Wednesday, April 27.
The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder was involved in an off the ball incident with West Bromwich Albion midfielder Claudio Yacob during the first half of the Premier League tie between both teams on Monday night.
Referee Mike Jones and his assistants did not take action when Alli apparently hit Yacob in the midriff in the 26th minute.
It is not debatable that the 20-year-old has taken the Premier League by storm but he has been criticized for his disciplinary record, with his yellow card total standing at 7.
Twenty four hours before stepping out onto the White Hart Lane turf, Dele Alli was named the Young Player of the Year by the PFA.
