Raheem Lawal : I Have Been Waiting For This Call Up

Osmanlıspor central midfielder Raheem Lawal is happy to be back in the Super Eagles fold after close to two years in the international wilderness.
The former Dream Team star has admitted that he was expecting to be invited to the national team on the back of his performances in Turkey and has promised to give a hundred percent in both friendlies.
“I have been waiting for this call up since because I have been doing perfectly well this season and I have so many offers, ” Raheem Lawal said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“It is now a thing of the past but I last played for the Super Eagles in 2014 against South Africa. I will try my best in the two games.”
The 25-year-old Lawal has recorded 23 appearances in the Turkish Super Lig this term, scoring one goal and notching three helpers.
