Manchester City Legend Expects Big Things From Iheanacho Next Season
Published: May 04, 2016
Manchester City legend Shaun Goater expects Kelechi Iheanacho to take the Premier League by storm next season.
The Nigerian talent has already shown glimpses of his quality in the current campaign, with 13 goals to his name in 32 appearances in all competitions, including his brace last weekend at Southampton.
“A few months ago I used to think we needed a forward to push Aguero but Kelechi Iheanacho has a frightening record and is excelling in his role.
“He also has a good work ethic and this is a key thing Pep Guardiola will be looking for next season – a work ethic as well as producing goals. ” Goater told 888sport.
Iheanacho will be hoping he is given a run-out at the Santiago Bernabéu on Wednesday night when City clash with Real Madrid in the semifinal of the Champions League.
