Will Odion Ighalo Reject 20 Million Euros In Wages Offered By Qatari Club?
Published: May 10, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that an unnamed Qatar Stars League outfit are exploring ways to sign Odion Ighalo from Watford in the summer.
The club based in the Persian Gulf are willing to pay 13 million euros transfer fee to the Hornets and will offer the Nigeria international striker a four-year contract.
Should the Watford number 24 agree to move to Qatar, he is set for a bumper payday as he will earn €5 million per season, meaning that he will pocket €20 million (equivalent of N7.2 billion in Nigerian currency) at the end of his contract.
Watford are ready to cash-in on Odion Ighalo in the summer but no bid has been received, with Nigeria youth international Isaac Success of Granada lined up as a possible replacement.
The 26-year-old has been linked with possible moves to West Ham, Everton and Chelsea ahead of the opening of the transfer window.
