Published: May 11, 2016
CSKA Moscow continue to lead the pack in the Russian Premier League and are now five points ahead of FC Rostov courtesy of their 3-1 win against FC Ufa at Stadion Neftyanik on Wednesday afternoon.
In the entertaining encounter, two Nigeria international strikers in the shape of Ahmed Musa (CSKA) and Sylvester Igboun (Ufa) started and completed the game.
Ahmed Musa had the last word when he netted his 12th goal of the season in the 70th minute after Dzagoev and Wernbloom had registered their names on the score sheet for the Muscovites.
The former Kano Pillars star made his 28th straight appearance in the Premier League, while Igboun played his 23rd game.
Another Nigerian forward Aaron Samuel would have been involved but has been ruled out until next season after damaging knee ligaments against Zenit St Petersburg in the Cup final.
