Chicago Fire striker Kennedy Igboananike was ranked the ninth best player in Major League Soccer for Week 13, based on the Audi Player Index.
The Designated Player accumulated 1,027 points in the ranking published by the MLS on Tuesday.
Igboananike notched an assist in Chicago Fire’s 1-1 draw with Portland Timbers at Toyota Park on Saturday, two minutes after Valeri had given the visitors the lead.
This season, the 27-year-old has found the net 4 times in 12 games and has racked up 1,013 minutes of game time.
The Player index is calculated by rating nearly every action on the field by a player.
