Exclusive : Arsenal Offered Flying Eagles Star Chukwueze N910 Million Wages
Published: June 08, 2016
For the first time ever, allnigeriasoccer.com can inform that Arsenal offered Nigeria U20 international Samuel Chukwueze seven thousand pounds per week in their bid to lure him to the Emirates in the summer of 2017.
As previously reported, the Diamond Academy winger would have signed a five-year contract if the Gunners had reached an agreement with his Nigerian team.
Chukwueze would have pocketed £364,000 gross per year and £1.82 million ( equivalent of N910 million in Nigerian currency) over the duration of his deal with the Londoners.
There had been a clause that the contract will be re-evaluated whenever he breaks into the first team of Arsenal, similar to the case of Alex Iwobi.
The 17-year-old Flying Eagles star has already passed a medical examination conducted by Arsenal doctors.
