Watford Haggling Over Transfer Of Granada Midfielder Uche Agbo
Published: June 15, 2016
English Premier League club Watford have not given up their pursuit of ex-Nigeria U20 international Uche Agbo, according to his bonafide intermediary Oliver Noah.
The Hornets have been linked with a swoop for former Golden Eaglets sensation Isaac Success, and the defensive midfielder could follow his Granada teammate to The Vic in the summer transfer market if negotiations are fruitful.
The stumbling block for the transfer to materialize is that Watford have refused to meet Uche Agbo’s wage demands.
“Negotiations are still pending, if he has to go to Watford, then he must be paid higher than the wages he is getting at Granada, ” Oliver Noah said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“We are still talking. Watford are the only club that have shown interest in him now. ”
Udinese snapped up Uche Agbo in January 2014 from Enyimba before he was immediately farmed out on loan to Granada.
