Ikorodu United FC of Lagos were involved in a fatal auto crash yesterday while travelling to Markudi to have a Nigeria Professional Football League date with Lobi Stars FC of Markurdi.<br /><br />The accident occurred around 9th Mile area of Enugu and resulted in the death of several persons.<br /><br />Oga boys, as Ikorodu United Players are fondly called were travelling in a Chisco Marco Polo luxury bus but players and officials of the team were said to have sustained minor injuries and are receiving treatment in a nearby hospital.<br /><br />The accident occurred at about 4pm and the organisers of the league, the League Management Company, LMC, has been notified and the fixture with Lobi Stars might be rescheduled.<br /><br />Ferdinand Mbum<br />
