Agent Babawo Mohammed Confirms Osimhen Agent Paid The Hotel Bills Of Coach Manu Garba

Jos-based agent Babawo Mohammed has confirmed that Victor Osimhen’s agent Shira Yusuf sponsored the trip of Nigeria U17s coach Manu Garba to Lagos before the start of the Golden Eaglets screening.
Babawo, who has been implicated for influencing the invitation of players to the national youth teams, acknowledged that Shira paid the hotel bills of Manu during his stay in Lagos but denied that his client received financial inducement from the intermediary.
“People brought their bad players and maybe they were dropped and they went ahead with the information, ” Babawo Mohammed told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“Manu was in Lagos for scouting and if they paid for his hotel bill it is not a bad thing. ”
It is confirmed that Shira Yusuf paid N5 million to Manu Garba to invite five of his payers to the Golden Eaglets screening exercise and the coach received an additional N4 million from Collins Academy to call up four of his players.
