FC Dordrecht superkid Lateef Omidiji Jr. is poised to make his unofficial debut for Nigeria after pledging his international future to the African powerhouse ahead of the United States and Holland, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.
An official source has confirmed that the Nigeria Football Federation are planning a trip to the United Kingdom for the U13 and U15 national teams in the coming weeks, and they will face the academy teams of Premier League clubs while in the country.
The U15 head coach will run the rule over Lateef Omidiji Jr. when he links up with the team in London.
At this very moment, no date has been fixed for the trip to England because the finals of the U15 Competition has not been concluded, but a representative of Omidiji has revealed that the youngster will be available for selection.
The last time the 12-year-old got close to the national team was in May when he visited the Super Eagles stars in Luxembourg ahead of their friendly against the European nation.
