Ex-Nigeria international Efe Sodje has been appointed assistant coach of North West Counties League Division One side Sandbach United ahead of the forthcoming season.<br /><br />The central defender will be in the dugout along with manager Andy Hockenhull for the club&rsquo;s pre-season training and friendly fixtures.<br /><br />Efe Sodje has coaching experience in England as he was previously in the backroom team of Bury and Macclesfield Town.<br /><br />Born in the United Kingdom, he started off his professional career at Stevenage Borough before spells at Macclesfield Town, Luton Town, Colchester United, Crewe Alexandra and Huddersfield Town.<br /><br />The other teams Sodje represented include Yeovil Town, Southend United, Gillingham, Bury and Barrow.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : mtfc.co.uk<br />
