Agent Shoots Down Ahmed Musa West Ham RUMOURS
Published: July 01, 2016
Ahmed Musa’s intermediary Tony Harris has dismissed rumours that suggested that the CSKA Moscow striker has agreed to join West Ham this summer and has reiterated that he is being targeted by an unnamed Premier League team.
It was earlier reported by the same website that Musa was bound for Southampton but allnigeriasoccer.com quickly shot down the rumours after contacting a top source close to the Super Eagles star.
“Finalising talks with a Premier League club but it’s not West Ham United Football Club, ” Tony Harris told Oluwashina Okeleji of BBC Sport.
“I was frankly surprised by this rumour. Yes, he’s coming to England but Musa’s not joining West Ham.”
Premier League champs Leicester City were earlier tipped to sign Musa but face late competition from a mysterious club.
