Player Who Narrowly Escaped Death In The Hands Of Boko Haram Joins German Club
German Landesliga Bayern Südost club FC Töging have completed the signing of Endurance Ighagbon.

The midfielder left Nigeria on the platform of Abuja City FC and previously represented Sölvesborgs Goif (Sweden) before he was snapped up by FC Töging.

Ighagbon`s story is interesting because he escaped death narrowly in the hands of Boko Haram extremists in the bomb blast at Nyanya on the outskirts of Abuja in 2014.

He became homeless but his story changed when Abuja City FC took him under their wing before they traded him to Sölvesborgs Goif.

Endurance Ighagbon was on the radar of Kalmar, Malmo and Mjällby AIF before signing a deal with FC Töging.
