Watford Striker Isaac Hoping Work Permit Application Is Successful
Published: July 15, 2016
Watford new signing Isaac Success is yet to be granted a work permit by the Home Office and his move to the Premier League side will not be completed in transfer market parlance until he is given the green light to play in England by the authorities.
With the former Granada star yet to play competitively for Nigeria and the Super Eagles not ranked among the top 50 nations by Fifa, he is not automatically qualified for a work permit and a panel will have to review his application.
“Isaac Success’s work permit is not yet out but Watford assured him before he joined the club for pre-season that he will be issued the work permit, ” a source close to Isaac Success told allnigeriasoccer.com.
The 20-year-old joined Watford for a transfer fee thought to be in the region of 15 million euros, and the striker has claimed that he is one of the top earners at The Vic, therefore, the likelihood of him being issued a work permit is very, very high.
Success played the last fifteen minutes of Watford’s 2-0 win over Stevenage on Thursday night, his second game for the club in pre-season.
