Mourinho Omits Nigeria Target From Manchester United Traveling Party To China
Published: July 19, 2016
The young Nigerian-born midfielder Tosin Kehinde is not in Manchester United’s traveling party to China.
Per the official Twitter page of the Red Devils, Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho has named a couple of Academy stars in his 25-man roster but Kehinde’s name was missing from the list.
This shouldn’t come as a huge surprise though as the Nigerian was not considered for Saturday’s 2-0 win at Wigan Athletic.
Born in Lagos 18 years ago, Tosin Kehinde has been at the Red Devils since the 2013-2014 season and rose through the ranks before he was promoted to their U21 squad ahead of the new season.
Manchester United will trade tackles with Borussia Dortmund in Shanghai (22 July) and Manchester City in Beijing (25 July) during their trip to Asia.
