Wednesday evening’s game was Ejaria’s fourth in pre-season as he was also given a run out against Tranmere Rovers, Fleetwood Town and Wigan Athletic.
Goals from Marko Grujic and Alberto Moreno secured a win for Liverpool at the The John Smith’s Stadium.
