Published: July 28, 2016
Kelechi Iheanacho and Tosin Adarabioyo saw their trip to China come to an end, with Manchester City winning their first pre-season game, beating Borussia Dortmund on penalties in the International Champions Cup on Thursday.
The Nigeria international lasted 45 minutes on the Shenzhen Universiade Sports Centre turf, while the England youth-teamer worked a ninety-minute shift in central defense.
In the opening fifteen minutes, Iheanacho had an effort and was unlucky not to break the deadlock in first half stoppage time.
Sergio Aguero gave City the lead in the 79th minute, tapping home from close range after he was teed up by David Silva, before Pulisic netted an equalizer for the Germans with the last kick of the game, so penalties had to decide the winner.
City won 6-5 on penalties, with Tosin Adarabioyo slotting his penalty in.
