Club Reveal Nigeria Wonderkid Nwakali Is Now In London To Sign Five-Year Arsenal Contract
Published: August 02, 2016
Nigeria U20 skipper Kelechi Nwakali and his intermediary, Allwell, arrived in London on Monday to complete his move to English Premier League powerhouse Arsenal.
Having trained with the Gunners earlier this year and passed a medical, the Gunners could not wrap up the deal until now because the central midfielder was with his country’s national team.
“Kelechi and Allwell Nwakali are in London now, they arrived on Monday. They are there to see the contract that has been offered by Arsenal, ” CEO ASJ Academy, Emeka Amajiriaku, told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“Arsenal will determine if he will go on loan or play for the U18s, U21s (Development squad) or first team. We cannot determine that.
“The contract is for five years and they are in London to sign the contract. ”
Arsenal will pay ASJ/Diamond Academy 2.5 million pounds to secure the signature of the best player at the 2015 Fifa U17 World Cup.
