Arsenal Starlet Iwobi To Spend A Month In The Treatment Room
Published: August 17, 2016
Arsenal youngster Alex Iwobi will spend the next four weeks on the sidelines, according to various reports in the British press.
In the second half of Arsenal’s opening day loss to Liverpool, the attacking midfielder had to be substituted after picking up a hip injury.
Following further assessment by club medics, Iwobi will spend close to a month in the treatment room.
Thus, the 20-year-old will be unavailable for Premier League games against Leicester City and Watford, but may be considered for the Gunners first match in September against Southampton.
The Nigeria international was replaced by Oxlade-Chamberlain after 59 minutes at the Emirates on Sunday.
