Isaac Success Will Not Debut Against Chelsea; Training With Watford Probables
Published: August 18, 2016
Watford record acquisition Isaac Success will not make his Premier League bow against Chelsea at The Vic on Saturday, August 20, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.
The Nigeria youth international resumed training with the Hornets at the start of this week, having missed last weekend’s clash at Southampton due to a muscular injury he sustained against Lorient in a pre-season fixture.
Though Success is nearing full fitness, manager Walter Mazzarri plans to retain the same players that made the 18-man roster against the Saints.
Furthermore, the Nigerian is training with the probables, meaning his chances of making the squad are very, very slim.
Super Eagles star Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney are expected to lead the charge for goals against Chelsea.
