Tolaji Bola Benched, Kigbu Not Involved As Arsenal Lose To Man City In Premier League 2
Published: August 20, 2016
Arsenal U23s continue to struggle in the Premier League 2 (Division 1) in the wake of their 1-0 loss to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Friday night.
Tosin Adarabioyo and Ashinme Kigbu did not make the 16-man squad for City while Arsenal defender Tolaji Bola remained on the bench for the entirety of the contest.
Rodney Kongolo’s strike in the 32nd minute turned out to be the match-winner, as City’s EDS won their second game in a row in the league.
Tolaji Bola was an unused substitute against Reading U23s on the opening day of the season, but went the distance in Arsenal’s 4-0 rout of Aston Villa in the U18 Premier League the following day.
