Watford star Ikechi Anya is poised to add to his international caps during the upcoming international break.<br /><br />The versatile player has been named in Scotland&rsquo;s 27-man roster for a World Cup qualifier against Malta at the National Stadium, Ta&rsquo;Qali on Sunday 4th September. <br /><br />Glasgow-born Anya has been invited by manager Gordon Strachan even though he has seen his first-team opportunities limited&nbsp; in the new season, with only nine minutes of game time for the Hornets after two rounds in the Premier League. <br /><br />The wing-back had been eligible to wear the colours of Romania and Nigeria before he played competitively for Scotland.<br /><br />Meanwhile, Balzan FC star Alfred Effiong is in Malta&rsquo;s 20-man party for the game against Scotland. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br /><br />
