Eduok Proposed Move To Adanaspor Suffers HUGE Setback Over Transfer Fee
Published: August 23, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Emem Eduok’s proposed move to newly promoted Turkish Super Lig club Adanaspor is on the brink of collapse because of a disagreement on the attacker’s transfer fee.
On Monday, the Nigeria international appended his signature to a three-year contract with Adanaspor after passing his medical, only for Adanaspor suits to pull the plug on the deal at the last minute, claiming that he is a free agent.
Prior to Eduok penning the contract, a 300,000 euros transfer fee had been agreed by the Turkish side and the parties that brokered the deal.
The 22-year-old’s minders have argued that there is no official letter from Esperance showing he is an unattached player and was released by mutual consent, and added that he has been paid all his entitlements up to this very moment.
Emem Eduok is still in Turkey but is expected to depart the country on Tuesday or Wednesday if this impasse is not resolved.
