Chelsea Defender Omeruo Proudly Announces Transfer To Alanyaspor Is In The Bag
Published: August 31, 2016
Newly promoted Turkish Super Lig club Alanyaspor have won the race for the signature of Nigeria stopper Kenneth Omeruo.
The central defender is set to be unveiled by the club in the coming hours after he underwent a medical on Wednesday morning.
Gaziantepspor did everything possible to try and sign Omeruo on loan but failed in their attempt despite offering him 650,000 euros wages per season, while talks with Besiktas were not fruitful.
Omeruo, 22, took to social media to proudly announce that his transfer to Alanyaspor is now in the bag, and has updated his Instagram profile to reflect his new club, where he will spend the whole of this season on loan from Chelsea.
He joins fellow Nigeria international Akeem Latifu at Alanyaspor.
