Published: September 05, 2016
Ahead of England’s UEFA European U21 Championship Group 9 Qualifier against Norway , Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom and Newcastle United defender Isaac Hayden took the roommates test.
FATV asked both players, who are rooming together at St. George’s Park, five questions on each other’s career to see who knows each other the best.
In the third question, Hayden was quizzed about Chuba Akpom’s football friend at Arsenal, and he replied : “Alex Iwobi’’.
Akpom accepted his answer, stating : “That’s my guys, that’s my guy (smiling)’’.
The 20-year-old Akpom was not included in the initial roster announced by Gareth Southgate but was handed a late invitation following the injury sustained by Chelsea’s Dominic Solanke in a Premier League 2 fixture.
