Catch up on the performances of players of Nigerian descent in the English Premier League on match day four.
At Old Trafford, Kelechi Iheanacho scored his first goal of the season and bagged an assist in Manchester City’s 2-1 win over Manchester United. He subbed out in the 53rd minute. Defender Tosin Adarabioyo did not make City’s squad.
Nigeria international Alex Iwobi hopped off the bench in the 75th minute as Arsenal beat Southampton 2-1 at the Emirates.
It was his first appearance for the Gunners since the opening-day loss to Liverpool. Teammate Chuba Akpom was not in the 18-man squad.
