Victor Moses Appears Off The Bench In Drama At The Liberty Stadium
Published: September 11, 2016
Victor Moses appeared off the bench for the fourth time in the Premier League this season as Chelsea surrendered their one hundred percent record after playing out a 2-2 draw with Swansea City on Sunday evening.
Trailing 2-1 in an absorbing contest at the Liberty Stadium, manager Antonio Conte introduced the Nigeria star in the 77th minute and four minutes later the Blues were level, with Diego Costa notching his second goal of the game.
Moses could have won the game for Chelsea in the closing minutes but fired well over the bar. It would have been his third consecutive goal in all competitions if he had hit target.
Super Eagles star John Obi Mikel would have to wait for his 150th Premier League appearance, having failed to make Chelsea’s match day squad.
Swansea City scored with their two attempts on target through Sigurðsson and Fer.
