Published: September 16, 2016
Former Golden Eaglets trainee Ovie Ejaria is hoping to get some minutes for the first team of Liverpool in competitive fixtures before the end of the 2016-2017 season.
The central midfielder has seen his stock rise in the last few weeks thanks to his brilliant displays for the Reds main squad during pre-season training.
Ejaria says he is not scared by the challenge of playing for Liverpool and he goes to pitch to enjoy himself .
“Lots of good players around me and it is helping me. And I try to play with no fear and confidence, just try and enjoy myself and I am doing that,” Ejaria told LFCTV.
Ejaria, 18, has been dubbed the next Paul Pogba by the Liverpool faithful, two years after joining the club from rivals Arsenal.
